A 22-year-old male has been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery in The Narrows last night.
Around 7:15pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports an adult male allegedly smashed a window to an adult male's vehicle with a concrete paver, got inside and attempted to start the vehicle.
While telling him to stop, the victim was confronted by the alleged offender who demanded his car keys and threatened him.
The offender threatened the victim with the concrete paver before damaging the vehicle further.
When the victim attempted to try and grab the paver, the offender allegedly punched him to the face.
The offender then allegedly rearmed himself with the paver and caused damage to another vehicle parked at the location.
Police attended the scene and the offender was arrested immediately.
The offender has been remanded in custody, charged with several offences including aggravated robbery, damage to property and going armed in public.
