Three people have been charged and will appear before court following an attempted armed robbery in Alice Springs yesterday.
Just after 1pm two males and a female entered a service station on Spearwood Road where it is alleged the female threatened a service attendant with a weapon and demanded money.
The victim managed to dodge the female and weapon, and activate an alarm, alerting police.
The three people fled the area, but were arrested a short time later by front line officers, Strike Force Winx and Police Dog Loki.
A 23-year-old man and a male and female youth both aged 16 were charged with one count each of Assault with intent to steal and will appear before court today.
