Police Make Arrest - Domestic Violence In Coconut Grove 30 November

Police have arrested a 57-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident that occurred in Coconut Grove overnight.

Around 8:30pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that a female had allegedly been assaulted by her male partner at their residence resulting in a laceration to her head.

Police and St John Ambulance attended, and the victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A 57-year-old male was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody with charges expected to follow.
