Police make arrest in Ringwood after pursuits

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a 25-year-old Mooroolbark man following a number of alleged pursuits earlier this week.

A yellow BMW was allegedly stolen from a residence in Frank Street Doncaster in the early hours of February 22.

Police attempted to intercept the stolen car several times but were unable due to safety concerns.

The 25-year-old was arrested at a licensed premise in Ringwood yesterday afternoon.

He has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, theft from motor vehicle, conduct endangering life, drive speed dangerous, drive manner dangerous, excessive speed, possess drug of dependence, commit indictable offences whilst on bail and numerous traffic offences.

He will appear in Ringwood Magistrates' Court this morning.
