Detectives from Dutton Park, Logan and the Gold Coast, with the assistance of specialist police, executed a series of search warrants at Marsden, Hillcrest and Shailer Park on Sunday which resulted in the arrest of a man for alleged armed robbery and property related offences.
A 25-year-old Hillcrest man has been charged with armed robbery, enter with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to the robbery of a second-hand dealer on Logan Road, Stones Corner on November 17.
He was further charged with attempted armed robbery and enter premises with intent in relation to the robbery of a second-hand dealer in Scarborough Street, Southport on December 7.
He was also charged with armed robbery and enter premises with intent in relation to the robbery of a jewellery store at the Ashmore Plaza Shopping Centre on December 11.
The man has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 22.
