Police make arrest over unlawful entry at Casuarina

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 25-year-old male and a 23-year-old male in Casuarina overnight.

At about midnight the police were alerted to intruders on premises at a shopping centre in Casuarina. Police CCTV captured the males fleeing onto Bradshaw Terrace where they were pursued by Police Dog Wedge and Senior Constable Unwin.

Strike Force Trident detectives charged the males the men this afternoon.

The 23-year-old has been charged with:

  • 1x Unlawful entry
  • 1x Stealing
  • 2x Trespass

He was remanded in custody to appear before court on Thursday 2 September 2021.

The 25-year-old has been charged with:

  • 1x Unlawful entry
  • 1x Stealing
  • 2x Trespass

He has been bailed to appear before court on Wednesday 8 September 2021.
