Police make arrest - Robbery - Nightcliff

Strike Force Trident has arrested two males, aged 13 and 18, who were believed to be involved in an alleged robbery on Monday night.

The incident occurred around 9:25pm in Nightcliff, Darwin.

Two males allegedly entered a service station in Nightcliff and threatened the employee with a knife before taking off with some tobacco and a small amount of cash. The employee did not suffer any injuries.

The two males remain in police custody and are expected to be charged later this afternoon.

Police continue to seek information from anyone who may have witnessed the alleged incident. Anyone with information is urged to notify police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference number 9136838.
