The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested two adult females in relation to a robbery that occurred in Alice Springs on Saturday morning.
Around 8:10am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received multiple reports of a disturbance occurring at a service station on Larapinta Drive.
It was alleged that two adult females ransacked the store after being refused service and subsequently threw items at a staff member. The victim remained behind the enclosed console booth at the counter, which was broken when the offenders threw various items at it. The victim was uninjured during the incident.
The offenders allegedly stole items and fled the scene.
Police responded immediately, and at around 9:40am the two offenders aged 20 and 22 were arrested without incident in Ilparpa.
They have since been charged with Assault Worker, Damage to Property and Disorderly Behaviour in Public Place. The 22-year-old was remanded in custody to appear in Alice Springs Court today, and the 20-year-old was bailed to appear in Mutitjulu Court on 24 September 2025.
