Police make drug arrest, Kingaroy

Police have charged a 39-year-old man following a search conducted at a Runnymede property Tuesday, November 9.

That afternoon police executed a search warrant at a Runnymede Estate Road address and allegedly located several cannabis plants growing, several plants drying and a quantity of dried cannabis leaf.

Police will allege they located cannabis seeds, drug utensils and a cross-bow.

The man was subsequently charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of produce dangerous drug, possess drug utensils, possess anything used in a drug offence, unlawful possession of a category M weapon.

He was also charged with unrelated offences including two counts of bomb hoax, wilful damage, evade police, public nuisance, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court January 20.
