Police Officer Served Notice to Appear in Darwin

A Northern Territory Police Officer has been served with a Notice to Appear for seven counts of Disclosure of confidential information under section 76 of the Criminal Code Act.

The 33-year-old female is due to appear in Darwin Local Court on 25 June 2021.

The officer has been suspended with pay and the matter is under investigation by the Professional Standards Command.

As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
