Police officer suspended South Eastern Region

A 46-year-old male Sergeant from South Eastern Region has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Police say.

The officer is subject of an investigation in relation to providing false and misleading information to the Crime and Corruption Commission.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
