Police probe after child falls from window in Blaxland

Police are investigating the circumstances after a child fell from a window at a home in Blaxland today, NSW Police say.

About 2.25pm today, emergency services were called to Hope Street following reports a child had fallen from a second-storey window.

Officers from Blue Mountains Local Area Command attended and have commenced investigations.

A boy, believed to be one-year-old, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
