Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Picton yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 6pm (Friday 30 March 2018), emergency services were called to a licensed premises on Argyle Street, Picton, after reports a man had been assaulted.
Police were told the man was punched in the head a number of times by another man, before he fled the scene.
A 24-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
