A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a man died after falling from a cliff near Maroubra Beach this afternoon, NSW Police say.
About 3pm today, emergency services were called to the southern headland near Maroubra Beach, following reports that a man had fallen.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command with the assistance of Surf Life Savers and Ambulance Paramedics found a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, at the base of the cliff.
He was treated by Ambulance Paramedics, however, died a short time later.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing. Initial investigations suggest the death is not suspicious.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
