Police probe after man shot in Campbelltown

Police are investigating after a man presented at hospital with a gunshot wound last night, NSW Police say.

About 11.30pm today, a 20-year-old man arrived at Campbelltown Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was treated for his injury, which is not life-threatening in nature, and police from Campbelltown Local Area Command were notified.

Officers were told the shooting occurred in Mary Wade Reserve at Woodbine; however police have not found any evidence to support this claim.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
