Police will investigate after a man was hit by a truck in Woolloomooloo today, NSW Police say.
About 1pm today emergency services were called to the intersection of Bourke and William Street following reports a man was hit by a truck.
Officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command attended and found a man, believed to be in his 80’s, with serious injuries.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, but has since died.
The driver of the truck was taken to Kings Cross Police Station for questioning.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing.
