Police are investigating an aggravated break-in at Richmond today, NSW Police say.
Just after 12pm today, police and emergency services were called to a house on Bowman Street, after reports that a male broke-into the residence.
A 20-year-old man was inside the home at the time and he reports to police that he was assaulted.
Several items of property were stolen.
The resident declined medical treatment and the injury is not considered life-threatening.
A crime scene has been established and officers from Hawkesbury Local Area Command have commenced investigations into the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
