Police probe armed robbery in Orange

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Orange, NSW Police say.

About 2am today, an 18-year-old man was standing on Nyrang Road, when he was approached by two unknown men.

He was threatened with a firearm, before his mobile phone, wallet and cigarettes were taken from him.

The two offenders fled the location and police were called.

A crime scene was established and a canvass of the area was conducted, but the men could not be located.

Officers continue to make inquiries into the incident and would like to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Both men are described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance.

The first man is described as being aged in his 30s with slight facial hair.

The second man is described as being aged in his 20s, about 183cm tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark blue jacket and black tracksuit pants.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
