Police Probe Campbellfield Firearms Incident

Fawkner Divisional Response Unit officers continue to investigate a firearms incident which occurred in Campbellfield earlier this year.

Investigators believe two men drove a silver Mercedes sedan to an industrial area in Cooper Street, Campbellfield about 10.30pm on 30 March.

Once at the address they exited their vehicle and fired a number of shots at a business, damaging a number of windows.

The men returned to their car and drove off.

Fortunately no one was injured during the incident.

Police have released CCTV and an image of a Mercedes which allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of Hume Highway and Somerton Road, Campbellfield about 10.44pm.

Investigators believe the occupants of that car may be able to assist with their enquires.
