Police are seeking information from the public in relation to a disturbing incident that saw a cat caught in a trap and left severely injured near Wollongong.
About 9.10am on Saturday, police were called to Troman Place, Bellambi, after reports that a cat had been found injured.
Police located the cat which was suffering eye, paw and ear injuries. The cat’s leg was also caught in an animal trap.
The animal was taken to a local veterinary clinic by animal welfare.
