The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in North Burnett this afternoon, 20 April.
Emergency services attended the Burnett Highway in Ban Ban at 3.24pm where they located a Nissan Navara dual cab ute which had been travelling northbound when the driver lost control and struck a tree.
The driver of the ute, a 53-year-old Victoria man, sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers are appealing to anyone with dashcam footage to contact police.
