Police are currently at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision in the state’s north, NSW Police say.
About 3.50pm today emergency services were called to Ellis Road, Rous, about 15km from Ballina.
On arrival, police found that two vehicles had collided head-on.
The 34-year-old male driver, and sole occupant, of the first vehicle was deceased at the scene.
A woman and child from the second vehicle have been conveyed to Lismore Hospital for precautionary checks.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Lismore Police or Crime Stoppers.
