Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Nankin today.
Initial investigations indicate at 2.30pm a Mazda 3 was travelling west on Emu Park Road when it collided with a Nissan Patrol travelling in the opposite direction, just east of Thompson Point Road.
The driver of the Mazda, a 21-year-old Rockhampton woman, died at the scene. A male passenger in his twenties, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The female driver of the Nissan and a male passenger, both in their twenties, where also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
