Police probe home invasion in Glenorie

Police are investigating a home invasion which occurred in Sydney’s northwest yesterday, NSW Police say.

Police were told about 7.30pm (4 May 2016), three men wearing balaclavas and gloves forced their way into the home at Glenorie and tied up a female occupant.

The men searched the home before leaving with cash and documents.

Just before 10.30pm, officers from The Hills Local Area Command were notified of the incident and attended the home.

A 78-year-old woman was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics as a precaution and did not need hospital treatment.

A crime scene has been established and officers have commenced an investigation into the incident.

It is believed the incident is targeted.
