Police probe house fire in Blacktown

Police are investigating a house fire at Blacktown overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Flushcombe Road about 8.30pm yesterday, where they found a home alight.

Fire & Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze; however, the home was substantially damaged.

Officers from Blacktown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A 33-year-old man managed to flee the home and wasn’t injured.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and an investigation is underway.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
