Police probe single-vehicle crash in Lidcombe

Police are investigating following a single vehicle crash that left six people injured in Lidcombe early this morning, NSW Police say.

About 2.15am tomorrow, emergency services were called to Railway Street, Lidcombe, after reports a Toyota Camry left the road and hit a power pole.

The driver, a man aged in his 20’s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to a leg injury. His passenger was taken to the same hospital after sustaining a serious foot injury

Two occupants of the Camry were taken to Westmead Hospital with facial injuries One passenger was taken to Royal Price Alfred Hospital with possible internal injuries.

Another occupant was treated at the scene for minor leg injuries.

Officers attached to Flemington Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police from Crash Investigation Unit will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
