Police are investigating after a man was killed during a severe weather event in Murarrie this evening, December 15.
Emergency services were called to Murarrie Road just after 5pm to reports an unconscious man lying near fallen powerlines.
Upon arrival, a 30-year-old Murarrie man was located with life-threatening injuries.
He was declared deceased a short time later.
This is an emerging situation and investigations are ongoing.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
