Police probe suspected drowning in North Curl Curl

A report is being prepared for the Coroner after a suspected drowning on Sydney’s northern beaches today, NSW Police say.

Just after 2.15pm today, emergency services were called to a home on Pitt Road, North Curl Curl.

A 65-year-old man had been pulled from a backyard pool and CPR commenced.

Police from Northern Beaches Local Area Command and NSW Ambulance officers attended and continued CPR.

The man could not be revived and died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established.
