Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire on the South Coast earlier in the year.
About 9:30am on Wednesday 14 May 2025, emergency services were called to McDonald Ave, Nowra, following reports of a fire.
On arrival, officers attached to South Coast Police District found a house well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW and Rural Fire Service officers extinguished the fire; however, the home was extensively damaged. There were no reports of injuries.
A crime scene was established and investigations commenced.
As inquiries continue police are appealing for information about three people who were in the vicinity at the time who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
The first is described as a male who was wearing a cap and black hoodie, black tracksuit pants with white markings on the lower left area and riding a light grey or white-coloured mountain bike.
The second person is described a male who was wearing a light-coloured cap, black hoodie, khaki or light grey pants and was riding a black mountain bike, with red stickers and silver rims.
Both were seen travelling south on McDonald Avenue, Nowra.
A third person is described as a female wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt and dark-coloured long pants who was seen in the vicinity of Kinghorne Street and Maclean Street, Nowra.
