Police probe two-vehicle crash in Padstow

Investigations are underway following a fatal two-vehicle crash in Padstow this morning, NSW Police say.

About 3.20am tomorrow, emergency services were called to Fairford Road following reports two trucks had collided.

The driver of one of the vehicles was treated by Ambulance Paramedics; however he died at the scene.

The male driver of the second vehicle was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command are at the scene, with officers from Crash Investigation Unit expected to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
