Police pursuit through city, South Australia

Police are searching for the driver of a white Commodore following a police pursuit that travelled though the city overnight.

Just after 11pm on Friday 28 December, a police patrol spotted Queensland registered white Commodore sedan speeding east on Grand Junction Road at Gepps Cross.

The police patrol attempted to stop the Commodore, but the male driver refused and it was followed south on Main North Road before the patrol stopped pursuing the vehicle.

A few minutes later the same white Commodore with black rims and a black rear spoiler was seen by another patrol travelling on Port Road towards the city.

The Commodore continued south on West Terrace, it turned east onto Waymouth Street and then back onto West Terrace onto Anzac Highway.

Moments later the Commodore was found abandoned in a business car-park on Anzac Highway at Keswick.

A search was conducted by the male driver wasn't located. Police enquiries later revealed the Commodore was not reported stolen with the investigation continuing as to the identity of the driver.

Anyone with information on the pursuit or the driver of the white Commodore sedan with Queensland registration plates
