Police are re-appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Sydney's north west, following new information about his movements.
Peter O'Donnell, aged 58, was reported missing to officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command about 4pm on Saturday (27 March 2021), after he failed to return to his home on Pendley Crescent, Quakers Hill, from his daily walk.
During the investigation, police have reviewed CCTV and identified that Mr O'Donnell travelled via train from Central Railway Station to Newcastle at 1.15pm on Monday (29 March 2021), before alighting from the train at Gosford Station about 3pm.
Further inquiries identified that Mr O'Donnell exited a bus on Pittwater Road, Dee Why, about 8.20pm on Monday (29 March 2021).
He is depicted in the CCTV as wearing a blue/grey jumper, white/cream shorts, brown thongs, a face mask and a black baseball hat.
He is also depicted carrying two red sleeping bags.
Mr O'Donnell is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build with blue eyes, a white beard and brown/grey hair.
Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to medical conditions that require frequent treatment.
