Police re-appeal to help locate missing man in Grafton

Police have released a CCTV image and are re-appealing for public assistance as they continue to search for a man missing from the Grafton area since last year, NSW Police say.

On Friday 27 May 2016, Patrick Raymond Kear, aged 51, was reported missing to police after concerns were raised due to Mr Kear not returning to his Parker Road, Lanitza home for some time.

The last confirmed sighting of Mr Kear reported to police was in late January 2016; however, he is known to frequent the Armidale area and may also be in Queensland.

Concerns are held for Mr Kear’s welfare as he suffers a medical condition.

Mr Kear is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180 to 185cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and a short greying beard. He may be wearing grey-coloured camouflage pants.

Strike Force Noorinan was established to investigate Kear’s disappearance.

Following investigations, detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries

The man shown is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium stocky build, and with short dark. He is shown wearing a navy blue shirt, blue shorts, and thongs.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of the missing man, or the circumstances of his disappearance to contact detectives from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command via Crime Stoppers.
