Police release CCTV as investigations continue into Corlette malicious damage

Police have released CCTV footage as investigations continue into a malicious damage incident in the Port Stephens region earlier this month.

About 4am on Friday 10 May 2019, a black Nissan Navara Utility was in the driveway of a Luderick Close, Corlette home.

At this time, residents heard a loud bang and smoke was seen in the area.

Later that morning, a 40-year-old man noticed significant damage to the rear of his vehicle and contacted police.

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District arrived and established a crime scene.

As investigations continue, police have released CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
