Police release video and images as inquiries into indecent assaults continue - Haymarket

Police have released video and images as they continue their investigations into reports of indecent assaults at Haymarket earlier in the year.

The alleged incidents occurred at the market on Hay Street about 5.20pm on Sunday 31 March 2019, where two women, aged 30 and 25, reported being indecently assaulted while standing in line.

The matter was reported to officers from Sydney City Police Area Command who launched an investigation.

Officers have now released video and images of a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

The depicted man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, around 40-50 years of age, with an average build, short dark hair, and brown eyes.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the alleged incidents, or who has any other information that may be able to assist their inquiries.
