Police Renew Search for Missing Quakers Hill Man

Police are reappealing for public information after the vehicle belonging to a missing man was located in Sydney's north west today.

Varum Badmi, aged 48, was last seen on Bali Drive, Quakers Hill, about 12pm yesterday (Monday 20 April 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Varum's welfare.

Varum is described as Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a green shirt and black shorts.

About 12.30pm today (Tuesday 21 April 2026), police located Varum's vehicle, a grey Rav 4, at the intersection of Veron Road and Prudence Street in Schofields.

A localised search is underway in the area, and anyone with information into Varum's whereabouts is urged to contact Riverstone police.

He is known to frequent the Quakers Hill, Riverstone, Westmead, North Sydney and Cessnock areas.
