Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Banana

A motorcycle rider has died following a single vehicle crash at Banana yesterday evening, December 6.

Initial investigations indicate at 9.20pm a motorcycle was travelling along Letchford Road when it left the road and crashed into a tree.

The rider and sole occupant, a 37-year-old Theodore man, died at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision that could assist with investigations, is urged to come forward.
