Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Forster

A rider has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's north yesterday.

About 4.30pm (Thursday 24 April 2025), emergency services were called to Coomba Road, Coomba Park – about 8km south west of Forster – following reports of a motorcycle crash.

Officers attached Manning/Great Lakes Police District arrived to find a motorcycle had gone down an embankment before hitting a tree.

The learner rider – a 21-year-old man – died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the cause of the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
