Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist died in Shailer Park tonight.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 8.05pm a roadwork truck was stopped in the left hand southbound lane of the Pacific Motorway when a motorcycle has collided with the rear of the truck.
The rider, a 52-year-old Belmont man, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
