Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Riverstone

A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Sydney's north-west yesterday.

About 2.15pm (Friday 7 June 2019), emergency services were called to Garfield Road East, Riverstone, after reports a motorcycle and truck collided.

Police have been told the motorcycle was travelling along Garfield Road East, when it crashed into a Hino truck, which was believed to be turning right onto Edmund Street.

The rider, a 34-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

The male driver of the truck was uninjured.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
