Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Yarragundry

A teenager has died following a motorcycle crash near Wagga Wagga in the state's south.

About 12.30pm (Sunday 6 September 2020), emergency services were called to a racetrack on Cloughs Road, Yarragundry, following reports a motorcyclist had left the track and struck a tree.

The rider, a 15 -year-old boy, was treated by members of the Volunteer Rescue Association and NSW Ambulance paramedics but was unable to be revived.

Officers from Riverina Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the cause of the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
