Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Toorbul

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Toorbul on Thursday, March 14.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 3am, a Mercedes Benz C200 was travelling east along Pumicestone Road when it left the road and crashed.

The driver, a 29-year-old Redcliffe man, received life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment.

He was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision, are urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
