Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Ingham

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Ingham last night, July 31.

Around 10.50pm, emergency services were called to Trebonne Road following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a white Toyota Hilux.

The pedestrian, a 54-year-old Rowes Bay man, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 36-year-old Bemerside man and a passenger, a 22-year-old Aitkenvale man, were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the crash, to come forward.
