Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Jimboomba 31 August

A man has died following a fatal two-vehicle crash at Jimboomba yesterday afternoon, 30 August.

Just before 4.30pm, emergency services were called to Green Ridge Road following reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorbike and car.

Initial investigations indicate the rider was overtaking a number of vehicles on the wrong side of the road when the white LVD station wagon made a right turn and collided with the motorbike.

The rider of the motorbike, a 27-year-old Wonglepong man, died at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit's investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
