Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Kirwan

A man has died following a fatal traffic crash in Kirwan last week.

About 5.15pm, on Thursday, 4 September, police and emergency services were called to a crash involving a black Kawasaki Ninja and a red Toyota Landcruiser on Ross River Road.

Initial investigations indicate the motorcycle had mounted a median strip following the crash and struck a tree.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old Kirwan man, was transported to hospital with serious injuries however later passed away.

The driver of the Toyota, a 62-year-old Gulliver man, was not physically injured.
