Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Dingo 23 November

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two-vehicle traffic crash in the Central Highlands this morning, 23 November.

Police and emergency services were called to reports of a crash at Dingo around 7.10am.

Initial investigations indicate a grey Toyota Landcruiser and a white Toyota RAV4 have collided on the Capricorn Highway.

The driver of the RAV4, a 52-year-old man from Northern Territory, was declared deceased at the scene.

His passenger, a 47-year-old woman also from Northern Territory, was treated at the scene and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Landcruiser, a 38-year-old man, and his passenger, a 10-year-old boy, were also treated at the scene and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

The investigation is ongoing.
