Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Hendon

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single motorbike crash at Hendon, northwest of Warwick this morning, 25 December.

Emergency services were called to Hendon Victoria Hill Road near Maryvale Street around 7:30am after a Harley Davidson FXDXT motorbike and its rider were located unresponsive near the roadway.

The rider, a 54-year-old Leyburn man, was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigations into the circumstances leading to the man's death are ongoing.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV/dashcam vision to come forward.
