The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred at Kentville, in the Lockyer Valley, on 31 December 2025.
Investigations indicate that around 9:45am, a Suzuki Swift was travelling along Kentville Road when it left the roadway and struck a pole.
The driver and sole occupant, a 40-year-old Lockyer Waters man, was initially airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but has since passed away from their injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and is appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV, or dashcam footage to come forward.
