Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Brisbane

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Brisbane this afternoon, 23 January.

Around 1.20pm, a white Toyota Rav4 was travelling southbound on Hale Street when it struck two other vehicles before colliding with a tree.

The driver of the Toyota, a 69-year-old Toowong man, was treated at the scene but declared deceased a short time later.

No other drivers were injured in the incident.

Following the traffic crash, Hale Street was closed until 5pm.

Officers are urging anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police.
