Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Purga 2 March

A man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Purga this afternoon, 2 March.

Around 3.05pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Bands and Ipswich Boonah Roads, following reports of a crash involving a white Toyota Yaris and a white/blue UD truck.

The driver of the Yaris, a 29-year-old Rosewood man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to come forward.
